The Jamshedpur Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society (JOGS) is a professional organization of doctors dedicated to advancing women’s health and well-being in Jharkhand. Established in 1973, JOGS has been at the forefront of academic enrichment, clinical innovation and community outreach in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

“With deep gratitude and a strong sense of duty, I take charge as the newly elected President of JOGS. This honour carries the legacy of an organisation shaped by pioneers like Dr. Dasgupta, whose vision placed our city on the global map and strengthened by the steadfast guidance of our Patron, Dr. Debdas.
This term, we will focus on clear priorities: establishing JOGS by-laws for transparency, enhancing professional development through CMEs and training, expanding community outreach in women’s and adolescent health, encouraging research and innovation and fostering mentorship for young members. I seek your active participation to make JOGS a vibrant, inclusive platform where every idea matters.”
